Designing platforms like Freeway-Camper and Campiri came with unique UX/UI challenges. While both platforms focus on camper rentals, their business models and operational needs are vastly different. Campiri operates as a peer-to-peer marketplace, allowing private owners to rent out their campers, whereas Freeway-Camper follows a franchise model, where partners manage their own rental fleets. This distinction had a significant impact on the public-facing experience and the admin tools needed to manage the platforms effectively.
Challenge: The platform needed to be intuitive for two very different user groups—customers looking to rent a camper and owners (or franchise partners) managing their vehicles. Each group had distinct needs and workflows.
Solution: We designed a seamless, role-based UX that clearly separated renter and owner functionalities while maintaining a consistent design language. Renters could browse, book, and pay effortlessly, while owners had a dedicated dashboard for managing bookings, pricing, and availability.
Challenge: The admin panel needed to support complex fleet management, including vehicle listings, pricing structures, booking approvals, and customer support interactions. It also needed to work for both internal support teams and franchise operators in Freeway’s case.
•Solution: We developed a modular, user-friendly admin interface that simplified operations. Features included:
•Intelligent filtering & search to quickly find vehicles or bookings
•Bulk editing capabilities for pricing and availability updates
•Custom dashboards with key metrics for performance tracking
•Multi-level permissions to support different admin roles (e.g., HQ, franchise partners, support staff)
Challenge: The platforms operate across multiple countries (Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland), each with different regulations, user behaviors, and expectations. Localization wasn’t just about translating text—it affected how bookings, pricing, and vehicle categories were displayed.
• Solution: We created a scalable, flexible design system that allowed for:
•Dynamic content adaptation per region (e.g., tax differences, pricing structures)
•Multi-language support with an intuitive content management setup
•Cultural adjustments in UI elements and user flows to match local preferences

Challenge: Unlike Campiri, Freeway-Camper’s franchise partners needed their own tools to manage their individual businesses while staying within the larger Freeway ecosystem.
• Solution: We built franchise-specific features such as:
•Partner dashboards with independent pricing & availability control
• Revenue tracking & payout management for franchise owners
•Automated performance insights to help partners optimize their rental business
Challenge: Without proper user analytics, we lacked real insights into how users interacted with the platforms. Freeway-Camper also did not use any behavioral tracking tools before our redesign.
•Solution: We implemented Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity to track user behavior, pain points, and drop-off rates. This data helped us:
•Identify friction points in booking & admin workflows
•Refine user journeys based on real customer insights
•A/B test new solutions before rolling them out at scale
